Ms. Weber graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2003 and the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2009. She spent the intervening years working in the legal community in Albuquerque, New Mexico, gaining foundational experience in the legal field through acting as a file clerk at the US Federal District Court, “temping” for several legal firms, and working as a legal assistant on a mass tort litigation team. During law school she clerked for the City of Albuquerque Legal Department and two prominent New Mexico firms, one specializing in plaintiffs’ work and the other in criminal defense and civil rights. She also volunteered for the ACLU. Following law school Ms. Weber went to work in the insurance defense industry, working for nearly a decade as a civil litigation defense attorney. She is excited to bring the experience that she gained defending lawsuits to work for The Hemphill Firm’s clients.
