Ms. Hemphill graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1980 and from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, Illinois in 1983.  During her summers in law school, she worked for legal aid and the American Civil Liberties Union in Chicago.  After graduating from law school, Ms. Hemphill served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable John H. Buttler at the Oregon Court of Appeals.  In 1985, she moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico and worked for a variety of local firms before launching her own law firm in 1992.

          Linda has lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico for over 30 years. She is married, has four grown children and one grandchild. She enjoys nature, yoga and pickleball. She also loves animals, especially dogs.
